Connecting the Los Angeles beachside community with one of the Southwest’s most popular leisure and business destinations, JSX will launch a new daily nonstop service between Santa Monica Airport (SMO) and Scottsdale Airport (SCF) in the new year. Additionally, the public charter will increase service between Santa Monica Airport (SMO) and Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) to twice-daily flights, with a further expansion to three flights daily starting February 5, 2026.

All Santa Monica flights will operate with JSX’s quiet, low-emissions ATR 42-600 turboprop aircraft, reconfigured to seat just 30 passengers for a spacious and comfortable onboard experience.

Reinforcing JSX’s commitment to providing convenient, community-minded regional air service, these Santa Monica routes will provide a frictionless alternative to larger commercial airports, eliminating the crowds, long lines, and unpredictable delays that have come to define traditional air travel. Customers will enjoy a swift, 20-minute check-in from curb to aircraft and tickets include at least 2 checked bags, including golf bags and ski equipment (size and weight restrictions apply).

Onboard, Customers will enjoy complimentary cocktails, in-seat personal device charging, and business-class legroom, with fast and free Starlink Wi-Fi rolling out across the ATR fleet during the first quarter of 2026 (pending certification).

“Expanding our Santa Monica service is a direct response to strong demand for smarter, more seamless regional travel. By increasing frequencies and adding new nonstop routes, we’re giving travelers a faster, more comfortable way to connect to the destinations they love,” said JSX CEO Alex Wilcox. “With increased service to Las Vegas and new nonstop access to Scottsdale, JSX continues to redefine what short haul flying can feel like.”

Tickets are now available for sale at www.jsx.com or in the air carrier’s mobile application, with flights from Santa Monica starting at $215 one-way, including tax.
