Sherman & Howard L.L.C. promoted Gabriel A. Peraz to member of the firm. Peraza joined the firm in 2009 and is an attorney in the Trial and Litigation Practice Group in the Phoenix office.

“(Peraza) has distinguished himself in the community for his legal ability, his work product and his ethical reputation,” says Gregory Falls, managing partner of the firm’s Arizona offices. “(Peraza) has served as first-chair at both bench and jury trials — a remarkable achievement for a commercial trial lawyer in his sixth year of practice.”

Peraza has experience representing clients in many aspects of commercial, contract and general litigation ranging from complex commercial disputes to breach of contract matters.

Peraza represented clients in matters before courts at the state and federal levels, appellate courts and alternative dispute resolution tribunals, including the American Arbitration Association (AAA) and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).

He is an emerging leader of his generation of trial counsel, having successfully argued dispositive motions and obtained favorable judgments for clients in multi-million dollar disputes.

Peraza graduated summa cum laude from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University in 2006 before earning his law degree in 2009 from the University of Arizona.

Nationally, Sherman & Howard promoted six lawyers to membership representing their litigation, labor and employment and tax and estate planning practice areas.
