CAREER PATH INSPIRATION: “Crisis work captured me to be honest. The thing that continues to captivate, motivate and inspire me is being a part of a process that provides support, compassion and dignity to another person on what could ostensibly be their worst day.”
SOURCE OF PRIDE: “I feel an enormous sense of accomplishment when the work that I do allows someone to feel valued and respected for who they are and not for a label that someone else assigned to them. Each of us is capable of great things. Providing a framework for someone to find their self-worth, individuality, humanity and interconnectedness with others is deeply rewarding.”
SOURCE OF INSPIRATION: “There have been several people throughout my professional journey. The one that stands out above all others is Fran Harris, my internship supervisor. She pushed me to trust in myself and believe that I had the ability to be a strong clinician and an innovative leader and administrator. She was the first person who showed me that leadership is an action not a title.”
SURPRISING FACT: “I wanted to be a professional bowler. I grew up in a family owned and operated bowling alley and bar.”
