Jodi Noble, audit and assurance partner, Deloitte
BACKGROUND: Jodi Noble is the partner in charge of Deloitte’s Arizona audit and assurance practice and serves as the lead audit partner for large public and private companies. She has served on the boards of Fresh Start Women’s Foundation, Thunderbird Charities, Visit Phoenix and the Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee.
CAREER PATH INSPIRATION: “Honestly, I took an accounting class in high school that was really fun and it stuck with me. The football coach was the teacher and had a unique teaching style. It opened my eyes that accounting was all about business and not at all about math.”
SOURCE OF PRIDE: “Nothing gives me more pride than seeing Deloitte professionals get promoted to partner and managing director. It is rewarding to be a mentor throughout their journey. I feel like a proud parent.”
SOURCE OF INSPIRATION: “It takes a village. I’ve had a lot of mentors that I seek advice from on specific topics, but women friends and colleagues are my go-to because they have great perspectives on navigating personal and professional challenges that we face throughout our careers.”
SURPRISING FACT: “In public, I tend to have a pretty calm demeanor, but in private I’m a really emotional person. I’m a sucker for a good heartwarming story or a romantic comedy. I’ll cry at anything.”
