BACKGROUND: Karen Roch is the President and CEO of Credit Union West and has more than 30 years of experience in the financial industry. She holds a BS in Management, with an emphasis in Human Resources from Arizona State University and an MBA from Grand Canyon University.
SOURCE OF PRIDE: “I was given the opportunity right out of college to become a human resource manager and lead the people strategies and culture for the organization. It made me realize that I could do anything and be part of something greater than myself as an advocate for workplace fairness and equality.”
SURPRISING FACT: “Some may be surprised to know that I love animals and being creative. I have two beagles, a blind rescue dog and a bearded dragon. I’ve also raised birds all my life. Creatively, I enjoy making original Halloween costumes for my son and animals, painting figurines and building Lego sets.”
