Sandra Torre, LAVIDGE
Background: Torre is the co-president and CFO at LAVIDGE, a private, employee-owned advertising, digital, and public relations agency based in Phoenix, Arizona. A CPA and CGMA with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Sandra has been a cornerstone of LAVIDGE’s success since joining the agency in 2003.
Source of pride: “Helping lead LAVIDGE through its transition to 100% employee ownership—while launching our IMPACT employee giving program—has been the most fulfilling part of my career. Building a company that’s financially successful and deeply connected to community values has been incredibly rewarding and, I hope, leaves something meaningful behind for the people who come after me.”
Professional advice: “Listen closely, learn constantly, and stay grounded in who you are. Be authentic and speak up—even when it’s uncomfortable. Lead with integrity and transparency. Never compromise your values. Trust is earned when people know you do what’s right, especially when it’s not the easiest path.”
Surprising fact: “I was a competitive roller skater as a kid—dance pairs, matching outfits, choreographed routines…the whole thing. It sounds silly now, but roller skating was big back then. Looking back, it makes me laugh, but at the time, it felt like the Olympics.”
