Dignity Health Welcomes New CEO to East Valley Hospitals

Mark Slyter has been named President and Chief Executive Officer for Dignity Health Chandler Regional and Mercy Gilbert Medical Centers.

Slyter joins Dignity Health with more than 20 years of health care leadership experience leading teams and engaging stakeholders to deliver top performing results in quality, patient experience, employee engagement and physician satisfaction. 

Prior to his arrival to the East Valley, Slyter served as president and chief executive officer for General Health System in Baton Rouge, La., a three-hospital organization and one of Louisiana’s largest health care systems. While at General Health System, Slyter led teams to improve access to care, patient experience and operating margin while greatly reducing the number of preventable hospitalizations and emergency department visits. Under his leadership, General Health System achieved the highest patient safety ratings in Baton Rouge.

Pine Canyon Names New Director of Agronomy

Pine Canyon, a private master-planned golf course and residential community in Flagstaff, Arizona, has named Andy Huber as its new directory of agronomy. Huber joined the club in August.

Huber brings nearly two decades of experience to his new role with Pine Canyon, serving most recently in a similar capacity at Wickenburg Ranch, a residential and golf community about 90 minutes from Phoenix. Beyond Arizona, Huber’s experience includes time spent at properties in Colorado, Massachusetts, Portugal and Anguilla, providing him with the chance to navigate diverse cultures, languages and landscapes. He has a wealth of experience at Troon properties, and has a familiarity with northern Arizona, having spent time at Prescott Lakes early in his career.

DP Electric Announces Two New Team Members

DP Electric Inc. (DPE) announces that two new senior level employees have joined the ranks of the company. These employees bring a wealth of electrical and project management knowledge to DPE.

Michael Spychala has joined DPE as Senior Project Manager – Healthcare. Michael will manage all aspects of project completion and jointly work with DPE’s estimating, preconstruction and field departments on all healthcare-related projects.

Michael brings more than 15 years of construction management experience to DPE and his deep knowledge of the healthcare sector make him an asset to the DPE team. Michael has recently relocated from Illinois where he worked for many years as a project manager and estimator on projects including the Centegra Hospital in Huntley, IL a $25M power construction project.

Also joining DPE is Claude Tremblay, Senior Project Manager – Mission Critical. Claude joins DPE after 12 years as project manager for Delta Diversified Enterprises. There he was involved with the Landmark Towers, Phoenix Children’s Hospital Tower Expansion and many confidential mission critical projects. Claude has traveled around the US to perform work on extensive mission critical projects.

The Driver Provider Announces Key Hires

The Driver Provider announced two high profile hires joining the company’s leadership team. Barry Gross, formerly of Reston Limousine, has signed on as the company’s new Executive Director. Kaity Quinley, the former Vice President at All Resort Group, will work as Driver Provider’s Regional Director of operations. Both Quinley and Gross bring years of experience and passion for the industry to their new roles. They also previously worked together at All Resort Group in Salt Lake City. 

As Executive Director, Gross will be based out of The Driver Provider’s headquarters in Phoenix and will oversee the company’s operations in all five markets including, Phoenix, Sedona and Tucson, Ariz., Salt Lake City and Jackson Hole, Wyo. Gross’ experience in two of The Driver Provider’s key markets, Phoenix and Salt Lake City, will make for a smooth and rapid transition.

Quinley will remain in Salt Lake City as Regional Director of the company’s operations there. Her 11-years of experience in operations and client relations will lend a steady hand to the company’s newest office.

Wells Fargo announces new Arizona team to support small businesses

Wells Fargo recently announced that Arun Aggarwal, Pete Aranda, Amy Harvath, and Sarah Lennartz have been named Business Development Officers for Arizona. This is a new role for Wells Fargo in Arizona with responsibility for leading our efforts to better serve our small business customers with $2 million to $5 million in annual revenue. The team will be responsible for building and expanding relationships with customers in this segment.
