Cosmetic surgeon, Elizabeth Lee, MD, joins Banner

Elizabeth Lee, MD, has joined the Banner – University Medicine reconstructive and cosmetic surgery team.

In addition, Dr. Lee has been appointed clinical assistant professor at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson in the Department of Surgery, Division of General Surgical oncology.

As a part of the Division of Surgical Oncology, Dr. Lee specializes in plastic surgery reconstruction to maximize cosmetic outcomes for breast cancer patients. She also specializes in other elective services including Botox and facelifts.

Sun Health names Randy A. McCaskill as VP of legal affairs

West Valley nonprofit Sun Health has named Randy A. McCaskill, as vice president of Legal Affairs, responsible for working with the organization’s executive leadership team, providing advice on a variety of legal matters and overseeing the assignment of outside legal counsel.

McCaskill last worked for Tessenderlo Kerley, Inc., as chief legal counsel and compliance officer for the $2 billion global chemical manufacturer of fertilizers, pesticides, mining, industrial, and water treatment products with subsidiaries that engineer, fabricate, and construct chemical and hydrocarbon refining plants throughout the world.

At Sun Health, Randy’s responsibilities as VP of Legal Affairs will include working closely with the corporate compliance oversight committee in order to maintain compliance programs and training as well as ensure compliance with internal controls, statutory requirements and other regulatory agencies. He will also manage relationships with external counsel for litigation.

Arrivia names Firasat Hussain as new chief information officer

Arriva today announced that Firasat Hussain has joined the company as Chief Information Officer.  Mr. Hussain comes to arrivia with more than 23 years of experience in IT with several senior leadership roles at Ticketmaster, RR Donnelley, and Orbitz.

Yvette Jackson elected to ACHSP board of directors

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Arizona Executive Director Yvette Jackson, LMSW, DBH, was recently elected to the Arizona Council of Human Service Providers (ACHSP) Board of Directors.

The ACHSP is a member-based advocacy organization whose mission is to “improve the lives of Arizona’s diverse populations.” ACHSP membership voted Jackson onto the board this summer as a result of her 20-plus years of behavioral healthcare experience in the state.

“I am thrilled and honored to be elected to the ACHSP board,” Jackson said. “I believe it is important for Devereux Arizona to be strongly connected to the human service provider community, and I am excited to work with partner agencies across the state to influence public policy decisions so that we may continue to enhance the quality of life for the individuals and families we serve.”

As a board member, Jackson will monitor and support the work of the ACHSP, and help set the strategic direction for the Arizona Foundation of Human Service Providers(AFHSP), which serves as the ACHSP’s educational arm, offering guidance and training to member organizations.

Jackson also was named co-chair of the ACHSP’s Human Resources Committee, which meets once a month, and provides opportunities for the membership’s human resources staff to network and problem-solve.

Venue8600 welcomes new director of sales and events

Nearly seven years after launching Venue8600, Elayne Beyer is retiring as director of sales & events and handing over the reins to hospitality veteran Donald Harvey on December 11.

“We wish Elayne the very best as she transitions into retirement and are very excited that she is passing the baton to such a qualified individual,” said Rebecca Grossman, CEO of the Scottsdale Area Association of REALTORS® which owns and operates the venue.

Before being furloughed during the COVID-19 pandemic, Harvey was corporate and government sales manager for the Desert Willow and Black Canyon Conference Centers.

“I look forward to growing what Elayne and the Venue8600 team have started in the way of live, remote and hybrid events,” added Harvey. “You can also expect us to continue collaborating with local hotels, and the whole community, as referral partners.”

Harvey started in the resort business more than 20 years ago in Washington state and moved to Arizona in 2002 as senior sales manager for the Renaissance Scottsdale Resort.
