Mitchell Drake of ABI Multifamily earns national CRE award

ABI Multifamily Vice President Mitchell Drake has been named a winner of the Connect Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Next Generation Award recognizing outstanding real estate professionals age 35 and younger. From among nearly 500 impressive submissions from across the country, Mitchell was honored in the Phoenix/Southwest category. Connect CRE, a fully-integrated news and marketing partner focused solely on commercial real estate, says the award was created to showcase young leaders who are “likely to be influential in the commercial real estate industry for a long time — because of their talent, drive and fresh ideas.”

Drake joined ABI Multifamily in 2018. During his first full year in the business as a broker, he participated in more than 30 deals, far above the expected results for a rookie broker. Since that time, Drake quickly progressed from Associate to Vice President, thriving within ABI’s team structure and company culture, which facilitates the sharing of knowledge and information.

“We have a great team of young brokers here,” says ABI Multifamily Senior Managing Partner John Kobierowski. “Mitch definitely earned this honor, through his hard work, strong client relationships, and sound business sense. We’re extremely proud to have him on the team, and we look forward to being a part of his continued success.”

Drake says he was surprised to learn he was selected as one of only ten winners in the Phoenix/ Southwest category. “I didn’t know ABI had nominated me, so I was definitely pleasantly surprised. At first, I thought they were kidding! Seriously though, it is such an honor to be recognized alongside so many leaders from all sectors of the industry.”

Former ad executive launches real estate partnership

A longtime Scottsdale-based advertising and marketing expert has pivoted his career focus to residential real estate and has established a new residential real estate practice.

Daniel Santy, a 30-year advertising executive who owned his own agency for decades, has shifted his career and partnered with his Realtor wife, Liza, to launch Santy Partners as a residential agency focusing on real estate in Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, the Biltmore and Old Town areas of Greater Phoenix. Santy sold his previous agency, Santy Integrated, to Phoenix-based RIESTER in April 2019.

Focusing on both new construction and resale, Daniel has more than 25 years of experience working with homebuilders and real estate developers. Santy Partners has paired with Keller Williams Biltmore Partners and C2 Financial Scott Dusenberry for the endeavor.

With seven Realtors, the agency has broad experience in the residential real estate market and is excited to expand its presence in Greater Phoenix.

“Both Liza and I have been proud to live and call this wonderful region our home for decades and now we want to share our expertise with those seeking to buy and sell their homes,” said Daniel Santy. “The combined negotiating experience and market knowledge we bring to the table will guarantee successful representation for buyers and sellers.”

Over the coming months Santy plans on developing the Santy Partners brand, developing email marketing campaigns and building a new web site. Santy Partner’s mission is to be “bold, fearless and memorable.”

Focusing on the local residential market, Santy Partners will also target West Coast buyers seeking a better and affordable quality of living in Greater Phoenix.

With record low mortgage rates, Arizona’s real estate market continues to lead the nation with new buyers and resales. Ongoing business relocation and economic growth feed the growth.

“I’ve been in the industry for many years and this time is truly unprecedented,” said Liza Santy. “I know Santy Partners will be able to help many buyers and sellers achieve their residential dreams while serving everyone with impeccable quality and service.”
