“The OneAZ Community Impact Grant program embodies OneAZ’s commitment to being a catalyst for positive change in the communities we serve,” said Brandon Michaels, President of the OneAZ Community Foundation and President & CEO of OneAZ Credit Union. “The 30 organizations selected for this year’s grants are true trailblazers. Each of them is igniting transformation and growth, ensuring that Arizona’s communities are strong and resilient for years to come. We are inspired by their work and excited to see the impact these grants have on their programs.”

The Community Impact Grant program is OneAZ’s flagship grant program. It reflects OneAZ’s passion for igniting transformational change and supporting organizations that drive prosperity and community growth. Since 2016, the Community Impact Grant program has provided over $1.2 million in funding to hundreds of Arizona nonprofits. The OneAZ Community Foundation is built on three pillars of support, which guide the Foundation’s charitable giving. These areas of focus help build a strong foundation for community strength and resilience.

  • Economic Empowerment & Entrepreneurship: Initiatives fostering economic independence through financial inclusion, entrepreneurship and financial literacy
  • Community Vitality: Initiatives fostering lasting community prosperity through programs enhancing access to essential services, community cohesion and cultural vibrancy
  • Developing Future Leaders: Initiatives cultivating a generation of empowered and skilled leaders through participation in civic engagement, mentorship or professional development

Funding for the Community Impact Grant program is made possible due in large part to OneAZ members’ debit card use. Each time a member swipes their OneAZ debit card, one cent is donated to the OneAZ Community Foundation. Since 2016, the OneAZ Community Foundation has provided nearly $2 million in grants and funding to Arizona nonprofit organizations through this funding and other donations.
