The City of Scottsdale and the Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce have launched an initiative to help raise awareness of restaurants and retail businesses that remain open to serve residents during COVID-19 federal, state and local social distancing recommendations.

Scottsdale Good To Go banners are being made available free of charge to businesses that are open and providing services.  Participating businesses can choose from one of three banner options that fit their services. Those options include announcing their business is open for takeout, delivery or simply just open for business with latter designed for non-restaurant establishments.  To further assist, the City of Scottsdale is waiving the standard $30.00 banner permit fee until the end of April 2020.

“The City of Scottsdale and Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce have collaboratively launched this program to support businesses that are open and serving our residents during COVID-19. While all of our businesses and residents are affected by this international pandemic, small businesses are particularly impacted while they work to stay open and provide food and other essential services to our community during this difficult time,” says Rob Millar, City of Scottsdale Economic Development Director.

Banners are limited and will be made available free of charge on a first-come first-served basis.  The City of Scottsdale may suspend or terminate the program at any time and without notice.
