Home Basing, the operating model pioneered by Sky Harbour (NYSE: SKYH), is coming to Phoenix in January 2025. Composed of private-use jet hangars, dedicated line crews, and customized services, delivered on a member-access jet campus, Sky Harbour home bases do not serve transient aircraft, allowing for a suite of tailored services otherwise unavailable in aviation. Advantages include efficiency (the shortest time to wheels-up), security, control and access on the Resident’s terms, with flexible use of the Resident’s private space.

Sky Harbour’s Phoenix campus is scheduled to open in January at Deer Valley Airport (DVT), with close proximity to Paradise Valley, North Scottsdale and the Silver Leaf community with easy access to downtown Phoenix. DVT features no congestion from commercial jet traffic. The Sky Harbour campus is positioned at the airport perimeter for private drive-in park-in access and features the shortest taxi times to runway 25L.
Sky Harbour CEO, Tal Keinan, said: “We are excited to be joining the Deer Valley Airport community. The Sky Harbour Campus is expected to drive significant economic development impact, including approximately 200 high-quality jobs. We appreciate the Deer Valley Airport’s warm welcome and active partnership in bringing a unique, high-value offering to Phoenix business aviation.”
