The final total sales for the 2024 spring training season were 292,255 and each game had almost every seat in the 11,000-seat ballpark filled.
Salt River Fields at Talking Stick Resort is the first Arizona sports facility built on tribal land. The facility utilizes Saddleback Communications, a Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC) owned telecommunications company to provide fiber-based high-speed dedicated internet, cloud communications services, voice services, and ethernet connections. The technology capabilities allow fans, athletes, and media to scan mobile tickets, participate during in-game experiences and stay connected while at the stadium.
“We have been working with Salt River Fields since inception in 2011 and are proud to be a partner in their most successful spring training season yet,” says Ray Napoletano, vice president of sales at Saddleback Communications. “We are fortunate to provide Cloud Communications, Internet and other services to Salt River Fields for the last 13 years and are looking forward to many more years to come.”
When spring training is not in season, the venue opens their stadium for dozens of other events throughout the rest of the year. The venue annually welcomes more than 500,000 event attendees.
In the coming months, the venue will be hosting the Multiple Sclerosis Society Walk, UnCorked Wine Festival, Yoga in the Outfield, Taco Fest and several high school graduations.
Both Saddleback Communications and Salt River Fields have a shared goal to serve the Community, connect greater Phoenix to the rich history of the SRPMIC, and provide great services to residents, businesses and guests.
