Companies wanting to do business with the City of Phoenix Aviation Department and Valley airports are invited to attend the 2021 Aviation Business Summit. This event will be held on Wednesday, February 24, from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.  The event will be held virtually through Webex. It is free of charge to participate, but attendees must register in advance.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn how to do business with the City of Phoenix Aviation Department and Valley airports, which includes Phoenix Sky Harbor, Phoenix Deer Valley and Phoenix Goodyear airports. Topics will include Department procurement processes, tips for success and more. Participants will come away from the Aviation Business Summit with important tools they can apply as they submit their proposals to do business with the Aviation Department.

Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to network and learn more about the airport system and its business partners.

“Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is a major economic engine for the city and state,” said Vice Mayor Thelda Williams, chair of the Transportation, Infrastructure and Innovation subcommittee. “Doing business with the airport is now more attainable than ever, thanks to this free event, where attendees can learn how to do business with the city and airport.”

The City of Phoenix Aviation Department offers year-round business outreach, but this event is one of the Department’s premier events because it provides an opportunity to receive comprehensive information in one morning and get an overview of how to work with the Department.

Registration is open until 5 p.m. on Friday, February 19. To register, visit  https://aviationbusinesssummit2021.eventbrite.com/.
