“For decades, people have treated the IT channel as a siloed, second-tier business unit even though it accounts for hundreds of billions of dollars in sales each year,” said Scott Salkin, founder and CEO of Allbound. “CO:LLABORATE hopes to put an end to that way of thinking and inspire a truly evolving job function. I can’t think of a better person to help us spearhead this refresh of culture than Robert Herjavec. Robert’s story, from escaping Communism in the former Yugoslavia as a child, to launching a computer company from his parents’ basement, to growing one of the most successful IT channel companies in the world should motivate and inspire everyone. His success with Shark Tank, Dancing with the Stars, and now racing in the North American Ferrari Challenge, just adds to his amazing story.”
Robert is noted as one of North America’s most recognizable business leaders. He has built and sold several IT companies to major corporations including AT&T and Nokia. Today, he is the founder and CEO of Herjavec Group, a $125 million managed cyber security company, a best-selling author, and personality on the Emmy-nominated TV show, Shark Tank.
More than 500 business leaders from technology organizations of all shapes and sizes are expected to attend CO:LLABORATE to exchange best practices in channel sales and marketing and foster collaboration amongst suppliers and their partners. A combination of strategic and tactical sessions on channel-focused sales, marketing, customer success, and technical best practices will take place throughout the two days.
“Our goal with CO:LLABORATE is to disrupt and bring new energy and innovation to industry that has been held back by archaic systems and processes for far too long,” said Salkin. With Robert and our entire stellar lineup, I think we’re well on our way to achieving that. This will truly be a first-of-its-kind event.”
