A crowd of nearly 400 of the most innovative business leaders in Arizona gathered Tuesday, May 13 to honor the finalists and winners at the Third Annual Champions of Change Awards, hosted by Az Business magazine, a publication of AZ Big Media.
“Everyone has a different definition of what a champion is,” said AZ Big Media Vice resident and Publisher Amy Lindsey. “To some, it’s winning a Super Bowl. To others, it’s being able to eat the most hot dogs in 10 minutes. But being a champion in business is something completely different. Becoming a champion of change in business demands courage, resilience, and unwavering belief. It means challenging the status quo, inspiring others through action, and embracing uncertainty with hope. True change-makers lead with heart, lift others as they rise, and transform challenges into opportunities that spark lasting, meaningful impact.”
And that’s what the Champions of Change Awards are all about. Champions of Change are those individuals and organizations who lift others up, give them strength, make them better, and in the process, they elevate entire communities and business sectors.
