The U.S. Air Force is opening a 3,050 square-foot Recruiting Office at Westgate in Glendale, as part of the Air Force Recruiting Services transformational efforts to consolidate recruiting offices into centralized locations.
To mark the opening, a ribbon-cutting and public event will be hosted by Lieutenant Colonel Erin Meinders, 362nd Recruiting Squadron Commander.
The free event will run from noon until 3pm and will include:
- A ribbon-cutting ceremony at noon
- A tour of a Vapor Special Ops Supercar
- Interactive games and an Airforce football toss
- Complimentary refreshments
- Information about the high-tech careers
- The new recruiting office is located at 9380 W. Westgate Blvd, STE D-109 in Glendale
