Recap

A sold-out crowd of nearly 500 people packed The Camby Thursday as Az Business and AZRE magazines honored the publications’ lists of the Most Influential Women in Arizona for 2018.

While their titles, industries and roads to success may differ, each woman we are honoring here tonight has crashed through walls and shattered glass ceilings to give little girls who aspire to make it to the C-suite role models to follow,” said AZ Big Media Editor in Chief Michael Gossie. “Thank you for changing the face of Arizona business.”

To select the best and brightest women to recognize, the editorial team at AZ Big Media compiled a list of nearly 2,000 women from every facet of Arizona’s business landscape — banking, law, healthcare, bioscience, real estate, technology, manufacturing, retail, tourism, energy, accounting and nonprofits. Once that list was compiled, it was narrowed down to 150 women. A selection committee then voted for the 44 women who were honored in Az Business and 16 women who were honored in AZRE.
