The BUILDER 100/Next 100 has named Fulton Homes as the 2nd fastest growing privately held homebuilder nationwide since 2016. This honor comes during a time when the housing industry as a whole is seeing the highest levels of demand for new homes in over a decade.
Builder Magazine curates the BUILDER 100/Next 100 lists to determine a multitude of data points about the top 200 homebuilding firms in the U.S., of which Fulton Homes is included. One of those data points is the top private homebuilders in the county, where Fulton Homes of Tempe Arizona ranks at #2 overall with 150% growth and just slightly behind the builder in the top spot. CEO of Fulton Homes, Doug Fulton said the ranking in Builder Magazine was a nice surprise, “It’s a great time to be in homebuilding right now. We’re always focused on competing with the other local builders that we don’t spend a lot of time thinking about national rankings, said Fulton. “Being ranked #2 in the U.S. and experiencing 150% growth is a testament to all the hard work of our employees and contractors. I feel very blessed to be a part of it,” he continued.
The top three builders according to percentage of growth in closings are Greensboro, N.C.-based Wade Jurney Homes, Tempe, Ariz.-based Fulton Homes, and Trumark Homes, headquartered in Newport Beach, Calif.
Fulton Homes has been building in Arizona since 1975. Their current communities, Ironwood Crossing, Cooley Station and Queen Creek Station in Gilbert and Queen Creek AZ have homes that start in the $200,000’s.
