4. Peninsula Trail, Dorset

You feel energetic and fit; the 15-mile-long trail has what you want. Starting at Whitwell and heading to Oakham following the signs for Hambleton Peninsula. You can Loop the Peninsula and return. The route covers mixed terrain and has a few hills. At times, the cycle track runs next to the road.

5. The Taff Trail, South Wales

The Taff trail is part of the National Network route running 55 miles from Cardiff, through the heart of Rhondda Cynon Taf, and ends in Brecon Beacons National Park.

With a scenery of river paths, railways, and forest roads, the trail is one of the most diverse and scenic to navigate. It takes around 3 hours and 30 minutes to cycle the 55 miles. Approximately, 7 hours to make the return trip. If you cycle from Cardiff to Brecon, the perk would be that it is mostly downhill on the way home.
