Physical and mental health have never been more top of mind, and the ever-growing focus on whole-person wellness is propelling brands like Alo Yoga to new heights. Now, the popular yoga clothing brand is spreading mindful movement, inspiring wellness and creating community with the opening of a first-to-market store at Scottsdale Fashion Square. The upscale shopping center, part of the Macerich portfolio of one-of-a-kind retail properties in top markets, today announced that a highly anticipated Alo Yoga store will open today, Tuesday, Oct. 19.
“Wellness is on everyone’s mind these days, and Alo Yoga is an incredible example of a brand that resonates with A-list celebrities and influencers, while remaining relatable and aspirational for fashionistas with practical but impeccable taste,” said David Hyatt, General Manager for Macerich. “Bringing a live Alo shopping experience to Scottsdale fashion community is an exciting proposition for brand loyalists, many of whom have only known the brand through its digital presence.”

Alo Yoga was created with the belief that mindful movement leads to better living. Alo began in Los Angeles in 2007 with the intent of sharing the transformative power of yoga with the world’s best yogis, but also with celebrities and fashion-forward shoppers who appreciate the brand’s comfortable, contemporary styles that are as appropriate for the street as the mat.
With the opening of Alo’s latest store in Scottsdale, followers of the trending brand will have a front-row seat to the hottest new arrival styles, like the refresh of the popular Micro Waffle collection, along with wellness products like the Alo Glow System skincare line and just-dropped therapeutic-grade Alo Essential Oil line.
“Spreading mindful movement, health and wellness is our purpose,” said Marco DeGeorge, Co-Founder of Alo Yoga. “Scottsdale Fashion Square’s shopper profile is an ideal fit as we introduce our luxury performance garments to a broader segment of fashion lovers. We’re eager to welcome the center’s inspiring mix of wellness-minded, fashion-forward shoppers and establish an Alo community in Scottsdale.”
Alo Yoga’s 6,760-square-foot space is located on the first floor near Nordstrom’s. Alo Yoga’s Scottsdale Fashion Square location is the first location in Arizona.
