Private Party Sales (PPS) is a buyers’ and sellers’ marketplace for all different types of vehicles, where everything is for sale by owner.  This family-owned and operated business was launched in January as an alternative way to buy and sell vehicles. Sellers can reserve a parking space, post the vehicle online, display it at the secure location. 

Located at 8833 N. Black Canyon Highway in Phoenix, the six-acre lot features 200+ spaces for all types of vehicles, including cars, RVs, motorcycles, boats, toys and more. 

“The idea was to bring buyers and sellers together and making the typical grueling process into a simple and quick transaction with safety as our main priority,” said Chuck Niday, founder and owner of Private Party Sales who has 47 years of experience in the automotive industry. 

In 2018, 40 million used cars were sold in the United States and the 2019 sales are predicted to reach the highest level since the recession. Due to rising new car prices and high-interest rates, consumers are purchasing more used cars than ever before.

The concept eliminates the middleman, which makes the process of selling a vehicle easier and more profitable. Compared with dealer trade-ins, selling privately typically results in a higher net sales price. Most importantly, PPS provides a safe space for each party and is the only for sale by owner company in Arizona that doesn’t collect commission and consignment fees or sales tax. 

“We’re offering sellers and buyers a safe and neutral environment to view, test drive with the owner, and complete their transaction in private” said Niday. “Our location is fully lit at night with video cameras running 24-7, security infrared beams, state-of-the-art alarm system, and a security guard who lives on-site.” 

Private Party Sales will host a grand opening event on Saturday, February 22. The community is invited to celebrate the opening with a ribbon-cutting, participate in a raffle and local food trucks, HI HI Donuts and Sip and Blend Brew, will serve food and refreshments from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Guests will be able to learn about the services PPS provides, walk the grounds and view any vehicles for sale on the property.
