The Rick Bronson’s House of Comedy pre-show Q-and-A series give you 10 questions of insight into your favorite comedians’ minds.

It’s that time of year when everyone either can’t wait to be surrounded by family or they begin looking for ant excuse to get out of the house full of in-laws. Last-minute shopping? Right.

Here’s one excuse to pack up the in-laws and head over to Rick Bronson’s House of Comedy this weekend for some quality, non-verbal family bonding — bearded founder of the Backyard Comedy Show in Vegas, Brandt Tobler, is in town.

Tobler will be performing at House of Comedy, located at 5350 E. High St. Suite 105, in Phoenix on Saturday, Dec. 27 and Sunday, Dec. 28. The Saturday shows, priced at $20 a ticket, are at 7 and 9:30 p.m. Sunday’s show is at 7 p.m. with ticket prices at $15.

When was the moment you realized you wanted to be a comedian?

What’s one item you never hit the road without?
