The Brawl Stars meta changes on a regular basis. It is a game loaded with all sorts of brawlers, and the developers try to make sure that as many brawlers are viable as possible. However, there are some months where certain brawlers completely overpower everybody else.
We’ve done our best to put together a Brawl Stars tier list for May 2024. We’ll list the brawlers for each tier (especially the ones that you might want to spend your cheap Brawl Stars gems on), and then give a highlight of one brawler for each tier to let you know how they play.
S+ Tier
These S+ Brawl Stars brawlers are the best Brawl Stars in Brawl Stars right now. They appear to be in most winning teams. We’re not saying that you need to play these if you want to win, but in the current Brawl Stars meta, you have more of a chance of being successful with these brawlers than any other:
- Piper
- Angelo
- Leon
- Lily
- Buzz
- Melodie
- Shelly
We want to draw special attention to Shelly Brawl Stars, since she is a brawler even new players have access to. While she doesn’t have a huge amount of health and damage, she still outpaces many of the other brawlers in the game. The main reason why she is listed up in this Brawl Stars tier list is because how fast she can move about. At the moment, the meta is very much focused on fast movement, and Shelly can do that. She does need to get up close and personal with the enemies that she is attacking, but her shotgun pumps out a decent amount of burst fire, and she’ll be off and away before her enemy has any idea what has hit them.
Because she is a starting brawler, it won’t take too much effort to get to grips with her. You don’t need to unlock anything. Just start playing with her, and we reckon you’ll have a decent time in Brawl Stars.
S Tier
The S Tier brawlers are still good, and worth checking out. If you can master any one of these Brawl Stars brawlers in May 2024, then you’ll be off to a good start in this meta. In fact, many of the S tier brawlers appear in the S tier most months, so you’ll always find a use for some of these:
- El Primo
- Cordelius
- Doug
- Colt
- El Tigro
- Kit
- Gene
- Max
- Brock
- Rico
- Sandy
El Primo Brawl Stars is one of the fastest brawlers in the game. He also has the second highest amount of health out of all the brawlers, so not only will you be zipping away from the other players, but you’ll be able to take quite a battering too. Unfortunately, he has a very short attack range. It is one of the shortest in the game, but like Shelly, it is a fast move, so if you can get that burst off, you’ll be out quite quickly. You also love his first gadget, which can knock multiple enemies back at once!
A Tier
This is where most of the brawlers are in the game. They’re good, just not quite S tier. You’ll be fine playing with any of these, but you’ll probably have an easier time tinkering about with these brawlers once you have a decent amount of experience in the game.
These are the A tier brawlers:
- Mr. P
- Charlie
- Janet
- Rosa
- Meg
- Edgar
- Emz
- Dynamike
- Tick
- Jessie
- Surge
- Colette
- Byron
- Stu
- Amber
- Bibi
- Mortis
- Colonel Ruffs
- Jacky
- Belle
We want to draw special attention to Colonel Ruffs here (although, he is now called Ruffs in game). He has low health, but decent damage. The reason why we think he is A tier is because he can grab some of the fastest enemies on the more compact maps. He has a high reload speed, and his lasers bounce off the walls. If you time it right, you can hit some of the faster enemies that are running away. He can also give a damage boost to other team members. He has low health, but his first gadget can spawn sand bags, which he hides behind. This can stop the faster, close combat brawlers, from getting close to him. This may help Ruffs survive another day.
B Tier
We wouldn’t really recommend playing with the B tier brawlers unless you have experience with them. Here they are:
- Barley
- Nita
- Gale
- Spike
- Gus
- Gray
- Hank
- Bonnie
- Mandy
- 8-Bit
- Buster
- Bull
- Nani
- Carl
- Poco
- Eve
- Crow
- R-T
Eve Brawl Stars is the perfect example of a B tier brawler. Her attack shoots three eggs, and they have random amounts of damage. It is exceedingly hard to hit any of the faster brawlers with this attack. Her supers send out hatchlings that chase other players, but the problem is they are too slow in this meta. In fact, every one of her attacks only works in the right hands. Avoid, where possible.
C Tier
With the C tier, we’re getting the brawlers nobody should be touching this meta. These ones:
- Chuck
- Fang
- Darryl
- Lou
- Ash
- Willow
- Griff
- Bo
- Tara
- Larry & Lawrie
- Sprout
- Squeak
- Pam
- Maisie
- Sam
Let’s talk about Maisie here. Her attack is ranged, and it has a good range. The problem is that the attack is very slow. She shoots out a cloud, and it leaves her very slowly (it speeds up the further it travels), this can provide other faster brawlers the time to avoid her attack, so it’ll be tough to hit anybody.
D Tier
Finally, we have the D tier brawlers nobody should touch. They won’t work, even if you’re an experienced player:
- Penny
- Chester
- Frank
- Grom
- Bea
- Otis
- Lola
- Pearl
Take Chester, for instance. His damage is random, and his super is random. It may seem fun to play, but it is almost impossible for him to play competitively if you can’t predict what his super will do. Avoid!
There you have it! Remember – the best way to get all the Brawl Stars brawlers you need is to look into Brawl Stars accounts for sale. We’ve got some cheap ones here on U7buy.com.
