You don’t walk into Christopher’s and order off an everday menu. There are three options. First, Christopher’s offers small plates at the chef’s counter and patio with bites like smoked salmon BLT, foie gras torchon, vanilla-dusted scallops and Moroccan lamb sausage with couscous. Second, on Tuesday and Wednesday, Christopher’s presents a $125, three-course prix fixe menu that spotlights the dishes that made Gross the Phoenix culinary icon that he is. Some highlights from the classics menu are D’artagnan Green Circle Chicken, Liberty Farm Duck, Pan Seared Scallops and topped off with dessert options that include Gross’ incredible Chocolate Tower. The third way is a deeply creative, eight-plus course tasting menu offered Thursday to Saturday. Here, Gross rolls out imaginative courses, some served in locally cast Cosanti bells, some sporting world-class wagyu or caviar and others that show off Gross’ playful personality with mysterious menu titles like “Something Cool.”

But EVERYTHING at Christopher’s at Wrigley Mansion is cool. From the extra silverware hidden at each seat to the treats that are hidden like treasure in compartments that you don’t even realize are compartments, Gross deliver the most innovative and amazing dining experience in Phoenix.

And you won’t believe the bathroom. Trust us.
