It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Downtown Phoenix as CityScape Phoenix launches a brand-new digital scavenger hunt where participants can earn coupons and discounts at participating CityScape restaurants and services, just in time for the holiday season.
Now through Dec. 31, this socially distanced activity will lead guests around the two-block development as they follow a series of QR hints hidden within holiday-themed graphics. Each of these graphics, once scanned using a mobile device camera, will pull the tenant’s offer, a hint to find the next location, and a map to guide the rest of the experience. Once players find all of the clues, they will be entered to win $100 gift cards to each of the participating tenants.
Here’s a look at some of the deals and specials CityScape tenants will be offering through Dec. 31, as part of the digital scavenger hunt:
• Squid Ink – A free order of pot stickers with any $25 purchase (before tax). This is valid on purchases of food and/or drinks. Limit 1 per person per visit
• The Strand Urban Italian – Half-off appetizers
• EOS Fitness – A $19.99/ month membership with 30+ days free. This is a month-to-month offer.
• Chico Malo – Free chips and guacamole
• The Arrogant Butcher – Free appetizer with the purchase of an entrée
• Pigtails – $10 “The Gingersnap” cocktail (whiskey, ginger, lime allspice dram and cinnamon)
“Although the CitySkate Ice Rink was postponed this year due to the Valley Metro Rail construction, we still wanted to find a way to support our tenants and deliver some holiday cheer,” said Mike Ebert, managing partner at RED Development. “Downtown businesses have been hit especially hard throughout the pandemic, so we wanted to create this event to further encourage people to come and enjoy the area, earn a few coupons and discounts and support some of their favorite local businesses in the process.”
