Tacos and margaritas, what else could anyone want? CRUjiente Tacos opened on Nov. 7, 2016, but will be celebrating its five-year anniversary on Nov. 6 with $5 Premier CRU Margaritas and complimentary tequila and mezcal tastings.

“We are so proud to celebrate five incredible years of bringing redefined renditions of classic Mexican cuisine to the Valley. Rich Hinojosa, co-founder and executive chef, explains that the restaurant is a love letter to his youth.
“When we started CRUjiente Tacos, I had a story that I wanted to tell–a story that encompassed food and memories from my childhood, my travels and my many dishes shared over the years with family and friends. These memories were translated into both crunchy and street-style tacos that I wanted to be technique driven, ingredient focused and thoughtfully presented,” Hinojosa says.
He continues, “Over the past five years we have received a tremendous response to these tacos, which I am very proud of, but I look forward to continuing our commitment to excellence as we push CRU forward as a modern taqueria.”
