Dr. Kelly’s Surgical Unit has opened its second Mesa location. 

Known for offering discounted surgical services, the new clinic addresses the widening care gap for pet owners and rescue organizations caught between rising vet bills and limited service options.

“People are being priced out of pet care — period. That’s a public health issue, not just a financial inconvenience,” said Doug Patriquin, CEO and co-founder of Dr. Kelly’s Surgical Unit. 

“This new Mesa clinic exists because too many families and rescues have been driving across town to access care that should be available in their own neighborhood.”

The Mesa clinic, located at 1955 W. Baseline Road, Suite 110, Mesa, is positioned between Dr. Kelly’s North Phoenix and Ellsworth locations. 

As with other Dr. Kelly’s locations, the new clinic delivers low-cost, high-volume surgical care, including dental cleanings and extractions, spays and neuters, tumor removals, bladder stone procedures, and vaccinations, without compromising quality or safety.

The addition of the Mesa location is a strategic step in Dr. Kelly’s broader expansion plan, which includes a newly opened Flagstaff location and out-of-state markets in 2026.
