Elvira’s, Southern Arizona’s award-winning cuisine of Mexican City, is opening in late November. This modern upscale eatery promises to deliver an unforgettable dining experience. Elvira’s DC Ranch is a partnership between classically trained celebrity Chef Rubén Monroy and Sommelier and Restaurant Developer Tom Kaufman. It was fate; the two met over their shared love of great food, wine, and hospitality.

The restaurant is known for its gorgeous interiors; the vision for Elvira’s DC Ranch is for you to step into the heart of a fine-dining Mexican Cocina, where tradition meets tomorrow. The two-story 3,600 square foot space is transforming into a dreamy candlelit room full of allure and intrigue, with private velvet seating areas, limewashed walls, antique mirrors, and a walk-in temperature-controlled wine cellar and tasting room. Soulful music completes the intimate atmosphere, where every detail is meticulously curated.
Director of Culinary and COO, Chef Christopher George with Kaufman Hospitality, oversees The Living Rooms in DC Ranch, Ahwatukee, and Chandler, The Peacock DC Ranch, Sea & Smoke, Rock Lobster Sushi & Teppanyaki, and CHoP Steak & Seafood in Chandler, and the soon to open Elvira’s DC Ranch. He and Chef Monroy have collaborated to create the elevated fare for the Scottsdale location. Their menu will feature signature moles with up to 28 ingredients, seafood, dry-aged beef, and the finest products sourced from local and Mexican farmers. From house-made tortillas, pressed and cooked to order, to exceptional desserts, every dish delivered will be a testament to the highly trained team’s dedication to perfection.
