The finest works of art from one hundred artists are currently on display at the 23rd annual Celebration of Fine Art in Scottsdale, Ariz. The event kicked off on January 12 and will continue through March 24.
Taking place at the southwest corner of Hayden Rd. and Lp. 101, the event is a juried, invitational show and art sale that features more than 40,000 square feet of working studios and artworks with styles ranging from realistic, impressionistic and Western realism to abstract and contemporary.
The Celebration of Fine Art also houses a sculpture garden with nearly 100 pieces of life-sized and monumental sculptures from Kyle Ashley, Mark Carroll, Gedion Nyanhongo, Dave L. Mure Jr., Paul Rhymer, Michael Jones, Ken Newman and Bryce Pettit, among others. Visitors can also watch daily firings at a working kiln.
Deemed “One of the West’s Premier Art Events” by Art & Antiques magazine, the event attracts more than 50,000 visitors with annual sales topping $5 million per year. Nearly 90 percent of visitors make it an annual tradition due to its comfortable and inviting atmosphere to interact with artists.
“The Celebration of Fine Art truly is unique to Arizona,” said Susan Morrow Potje, co-owner and show director. “It hasn’t been replicated anywhere in the country. Visitors count on our great quality art, welcoming experience and interaction with the artists. From first-time visitors to long-time collectors, our guests say they look forward to returning year after year.”
The event is open to guests of all ages. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and military, and free admission for children under 12. Tickets are all-event passes and good for the entire 10-week show.
