Arizona’s homegrown Harkins Theatres announces today the debut of the new their new flagship theatre, Camelview at Fashion Square. The highly anticipated theatre will open Thursday, December 17 followed by a weekend-long grand opening celebration.
Harkins’ new luxury cinema boasts 14 screens, which will allow Harkins to show a wider variety of independent, foreign and art films than ever before, alongside a curated selection of the very best wide-release films. Camelview at Fashion Square will also debut the Vérité Lounge, Harkins Theatres’ first ever in-lobby bar and lounge, featuring an indoor/outdoor rooftop terrace where moviegoers can enjoy cocktails, wine and beer, including local craft favorites.
Camelview at Fashion Square will also mark the debut of some new amazing amenities including:
• Harkins’ Ultimate Lounger™ – Harkins’ exclusive plush, leather electric recliner seats in all auditoriums
• Reserved seating in all auditoriums
• Harkins’ Lobby Café featuring espresso drinks, enticing desserts and savory small plates
• Architecturally minimalist modern movie palace décor infused with the spirit of the original Camelview
• State-of-the-art all digital projection and sound featuring two screens nearly the size of the Cine Capri
• Gourmet concession stand with an expanded menu including Harkins’ award-winning popcorn, and a variety of hot food items

Guests are invited to enjoy the new Camelview at Fashion Square beginning Thursday, December 17 at 5:30 p.m. when Dan Harkins leads a ribbon cutting ceremony before the 7:00 p.m. premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
