Besh-Ba-Gowah

One mile southwest of the City of Globe stand the remains of a large pueblo village constructed by the Salado culture who occupied the region between 1225-1450 C.E. Today, the partially restored pueblo is known as Besh Ba Gowah. Visitors can take a self-guided tour of the outdoor pueblo exhibits, learning about ancient Salado life, view artifacts such as pottery and stone tools in the adjacent museum and stroll through botanical gardens showcasing native and cultivated plants used by ancient peoples of the southwest. The park has picnic areas and is pet friendly. The museum gift shop offers a wonderful assortment of specialty and Native American crafted items.

Antelope Canyon Navajo Tours

Antelope Canyon Navajo Tours takes visitors on a guided journey through one of the most stunning slot canyons in the world. S’edav Va’aki Museum

The S’edav Va’aki Museum, a National Historic Landmark, is an archaeological site once home to the Hohokam culture, located near Phoenix’s Sky Harbor Airport. It features a 2/3-mile accessible trail through prehistoric ruins, including a platform mound and ball court. The museum offers three galleries with artifacts, a hands-on children’s exhibit, and a store with Native American art and jewelry.

Fort McDowell Adventures offers a unique outdoor experience on the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation, showcasing the beauty of the Sonoran Desert.
