Set against the energy of spring training season, the Extra Innings Festival returns to Tempe Feb. 27-28, blending live music, baseball culture and Arizona’s signature outdoor lifestyle into one of the Valley’s most anticipated festival weekends. Festivalgoers can expect a full weekend of live performances, curated food and beverage offerings, and immersive activities that celebrate Arizona’s sports culture. The timing aligns perfectly with the influx of visitors arriving for Cactus League games, transforming Tempe into a hub where live music stages, batting cages and fan experiences collide.

Beyond the music, Extra Innings reflects the growing synergy between Arizona’s entertainment scene and its booming tourism economy. As spring training continues to draw fans to the Valley, the festival adds another layer to the experience — turning a weekend of baseball into a full-scale cultural event that stretches from stadiums to the Tempe Town Lake waterfront.

With its blend of nationally recognized artists, baseball storytelling and Arizona sunshine, Extra Innings has quickly carved out a distinct identity alongside Innings Festival — proving that in the Valley, the start of baseball season now comes with a soundtrack.
