The Valley’s most awarded men’s fashion boutique, The Clotherie has announced their revitalized look, all-new website and expanded lineup of the finest European and American fashions. Not to mention new, if familiar leadership for this landmark retail shop founded in 1969. Located at the stylish Biltmore Fashion Park, The Clotherie (and sister shop,Bonafide Goods inside The Union Shops) is now directed by longtime managers, Tom Allen and Tom Simon, following the untimely death of former owner, Greg Eveloff. Furthermore, to ensure this iconic luxury shop will continue dressing its customers in the finest men’s fashions for decades to come, The Clotherie has engaged the national consulting service, Retail One Group, to provide professional back office support and inventory financing.
“The Clotherie is a place for men of all ages to shop a carefully curated collection of the world’s finest luxury fashions,” says Clothing & Furnishings Director, Tom Allen, “including an extensive selection of modern, trimmer fits, and an excellent in-house tailor.” Best known for its longtime partnership to dress the Phoenix Suns’ head coach in stylish, custom dress suits, The Clotherie continues to evolve with the times, says Sportswear Director, Tom Simon. “Being in the fashion business, we know that you have to change with the times, so we’ve not only refreshed our look and website, but also significantly expanded our selection of luxury sportswear to ensure our customers, especially the younger generations, look as good at play and on the weekends as they do in the office.” This means that in addition to top-selling dress wear labels such as Canali, Ermenegildo Zegna, Samuelsohn, Eton and Zanella, The Clotherie also offers the latest luxury sportswear from L.B.M., AG, Eton Green Ribbon, Circle of Gentleman, and Sand. In fact, both Allen and Simon make frequent buyers trips to NYC and Las Vegas to see the latest designs and attend runway shows and ensure The Clotherie customers are always on-trend.
“Over the last 15 years, the cuts have consistently gone trimmer, with slimmer shirts and pants, which is why it’s more important than ever to have your clothing hand tailored for the perfect, most flattering fit,” Tom Allen says. Meanwhile, on the sportswear side, Tom Simon is a fan of the latest unconstructed jackets, also known as travel blazers, that sport soft, super-light fabrics, “and are perfect for throwing over an open collared shirt and jeans.”
