Developer, SB2-VB, LLC just announced Hash Kitchen will be joining their Live+Work+Play development, Verde At Cooley Station. The popular breakfast/brunch hot spot along with local fitness powerhouse, Coach Pain Academy is set to open this year at the modern main street community located at Williams Field and S. Recker Road.
Gilbert’s growing population increase and bursting growth of new restaurants and other family attractions made the Verde at Cooley Station development an easy choice for Hash Kitchen. The residential developments within a quarter mile of Verde will include approximately 4,400 rental units and 1,000 single family homes, making Verde a truly walkable gathering place for the community.

“We want to be part of Gilbert and the surrounding communities, and not lost in the middle of a power center. Hash Kitchen is a destination and will be worth the drive for anyone within 5-10 miles. Verde at Cooley Stations is also the new shiny penny in the community. Just like Hash Kitchen. It is a shiny penny in the breakfast and brunch category. So it was a perfect marriage,” said Andrew Smith, Managing Director, Savory Restaurant Fund.
Hash Kitchen committed to 4,500 square feet of indoor space and a 1,000 square foot patio within Verde at Cooley Station. Guests can expect comfortable seating, a grand bar, reoccurring DJ, Bloody Mary bar and the most flavorful brunch menu in Arizona. The menu was curated by Joey Maggiore, an executive chef, hospitality visionary, entrepreneur and founder of family-owned restaurant group, The Maggiore Group.
Like many developments in the greater Phoenix market, Verde’s construction schedule has been adversely impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic, supply chain issues and storms last year. As such, the opening of Verde at Cooley Station will occur in phases during 2022 beginning in May.
Verde at Cooley Station incorporates a unique mix of creative office space, medical office, fitness operators, retailers, service providers and exciting dining options surrounding a park with a performance venue. Verde is a walkable, dog friendly, town center with abundant outdoor seating areas, a children’s playground, and social media-worthy murals created by local artists.
Pending restaurant concepts include: an ice cream store, Mexican restaurant and a Boba Tea house.
