Kevin Hwang was introduced to yoga when he casually accepted an invitation to class from a friend. Like many yoga practitioners, he describes his yoga journey as life changing.  While yoga results in obvious improvements in strength, balance and flexibility, Kevin was amazed that performing asanas (yoga postures) could have such a profound effect on everything else – such as his diet, mood, and outlook on life. Owner of an adventure travel company, Kevin’s other passions include backpacking, photography and travel.

Jessica Ruiz discovered yoga just two years ago. She was inspired by her teacher’s refreshing approach to yoga. Since then, she has been blessed to learn from a myriad of instructors in Arizona’s strong yoga community. With yoga, Jessica has found strength, stillness and an awareness that she had not known before. Jessica, an office manager, credits yoga for teaching her to take time for herself, to be kind to herself and to simply breathe.

Stephanie Besler fell in love with the practice of yoga as a means to calm the mind and heal the body. With a background in dance, Stephanie was immediately drawn to yoga. When she took her first class in 1999, she knew she had tapped into something that would be a part of her life forever. Stephanie teaches dynamic and challenging Vinyasa flow, basics and power classes.   She inspires her students to move mindfully, with grace, and to transcend their practice on and off the mat.
