Presenting five displays which explore the areas where da Vinci made his greatest impact, Leonardo: The Universal Man is truly an exciting new take on his famed drawings, sketchings, and journal entries. This exciting take on celebrated da Vinci discoveries and creations like the Mona Lisa, The Last Supper, and the Vitruvian Man bring audiences to awe with state of the art projection technology; featuring animated and kaleidoscopic treatments in daring color palettes. This concept was developed by TWOFIFTYK – creative leaders who have designed some of the world’s most recognizable festivals, experiential events, activations, and more.

Visitors will be greeted with a photo moment of the famed Vitruvian Man upon entry and invited into a multi-gallery experience – starting with a narrative on Leonardo da Vinci’s life. The show advances into Leonardo da Vinci’s achievements through a series of ceiling to floor projections that present a current interpretation of his drawings and creations.

“Leonado da Vinci was truly ahead of his time, seeing the world around him in a whole new way – a futuristic view of both art and science. And, in turn, we’d like to think that he himself would want his work to be presented into modern day using state of the art technology with awe inspiring sights and sound” says Adam Friedman, EVP of Operations at Impact Museums.

“We are so excited how TWOFIFTYK has brought to life the man and his work through this stunning presentation – demand has already surpassed our expectations and the audience response has been outstanding!”

“We have always admired Leonardo da Vinci as an artist. Not only because of his paintings but mostly for his never ending curiosity and drive to learn more about how the world we live in works and how we can use these elements to create new things. Looking back on his life and what he has accomplished it is amazing to see how far ahead he was for his time on so many levels.” – Carlo Ruijgers, Co-Founder TWOFIFTYK.

While widely famed for his paintings (The Mona Lisa – 1503, The Last Supper – 1492, The Vitruvian Man – 1485) – he is also known for his inventions, contributions to modern mapping and architecture, science, math and medicine, and philosophical achievements. Da Vinci left behind prolific notebooks full of sketchings and ideas on anatomy, astronomy, botany, cartography, painting, and paleontology – known to be the epitome of the Renaissance humanist ideal and which ultimately led to some of the most important inventions and discoveries of modern times.
