The Maricopa County Home & Garden Show, the largest home show in the Southwest, returns to Westworld of Scottsdale Friday, Sept. 27  through Sunday, Sept. 29. The family-friendly show will feature over 1,000 vendor booths providing deals on landscaping, kitchen and bath remodeling, décor, painting and so much more. 

“This is the final show of the year and we’re looking forward to providing a Home Show for everyone,” said Katie Jones, show manager. “With only a $5 admission, attendees can participate in make and take activities, explore home improvement booths, talk with experts and more. We are excited to continue our ‘Billboards to Bags’ initiative with our fashionable upcycled totes – you can even watch how they’re made live at the show.”

    • Paint a gorgeous Arizona sunset on a wooden plague. 
    • Learn various fine art techniques and delve into the art of drawing trees. 
    • Create your own fizzy bath bomb. 
    • Use nature to create textures on your canvas, then paint it all and discover a glowing neon masterpiece under a blacklight.

    • Proper Tree Care for your Home’s Green Assets: Do’s and don’ts of selecting, planting, pruning, watering and long-term tree management from the Arizona Community Tree Council. 
    • Greek and Middle Eastern Cuisine: Learn about traditional Middle Eastern cuisine, recipes, pairing and history.

  • Kid’s Corner Family Craft Workshops: Bring the whole family and enjoy the Home Shows’ free family craft workshops and take-home projects all weekend long! The Kids Corner craft workshops are for kids ages 4-12.
    • Live demonstrations of 3D paintings and hands-on assembly of a 3D character or animal.

  • Fur-ever Pet Adoptions: Maricopa County Animal Care & Control will be offering on-site dog adoptions. If you’re not ready to adopt a dog – you can participate by bringing in pet items for free admission into the Home Show.

COST: General Admission: $5 daily for adults, kids ages 0-12 are free.

Senior Morning: Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., $3 admission for guests 60 and older with valid ID.

Teacher Appreciation: All 3 days, $3 admission with valid Arizona school ID.

Military Appreciation: All 3 days, $3 admission with valid military identification.
