Cactus Flower Florists is celebrating 45 years in the Valley by opening a boutique wine and craft beer store called Vines, Hops & Blooms inside its Scottsdale retail shop located at 10822 N. Scottsdale Road. As the first and only flower shop in the Greater Phoenix area to sell alcohol and offer same day delivery, Cactus Flower is placing an emphasis on family owned and operated Arizona wineries and breweries in addition to offering award-winning labels from around the world.
“My mom’s passion and love for flowers inspired her to open Cactus Flower Florists 45 years ago to celebrate life’s moments with a beautiful bouquet created especially for that person or occasion,” said Eric Luoma, president and owner of Cactus Flower Florists. “We handpicked these wines and beers with the same care that we use when choosing the farms that supply our flowers to create that perfect arrangement. The launch of Vines, Hops & Blooms currently features the following wines and beers but the collection will continue to expand: Huss Brewing Co. in Tempe (Scottsdale Blonde, Magic in the Ivy, and Koffee Kolsch), Papago Brewing Co. in Scottsdale (Orange Blossom Ale), Javelina Leap in Sedona (Prospectors Blend, Zinfandel, Sauvignon Blanc, Legacy Zinfandel and Syrah), Dos Cabezas in Sonoita (Rose Blend), Caduceus in Jerome (Nagual del Marzo), Sand Reckoner in Willcox (Malvasia), and J.P. Chenet in Alsace, France (Brut and Rose’ sparkling).
