SumoMaya, the Valley’s destination for Mexican-Asian cuisine is setting the record straight this September! Cinco de Mayo may be a fun night to throw back a few tequilas or cervezas, but the true Mexican Independence Day is on September 16.
To that end, SumoMaya is throwing the largest Mexican Independence Day Bash in town.

This festive celebration will feature: a DJ spinning tunes all night long, a refreshing cucumber & lime margarita crafted specifically for this celebration for $5 and all-day social hour at the bar.
In addition, SumoMaya will celebrate Mexican Independence with a gift card giveaway to those social media junkies willing to post photos from their night at SumoMaya online. Three winners will be rewarded with a $50 gift card to SumoMaya for posting a photo from the celebration on September 16. To enter they must tag SumoMaya in their Facebook, Instagram or Twitter post and use the hashtag #TheRealIndependence. Winners will be drawn at random from all entries received. Winners will be announced on September 17, 2015.
