Old Town Scottsdale is making room for a Chicago-style eatery, K.I.S.S. (Keep it Simple, Stupid) this July — located in a sleek space next to The Venue Scottsdale and V2, a two-story, 8,000-square-food lounge opening 2013.

Chef Anthony CrocenziAt 900 square feet, K.I.S.S. offers exactly that on its menu ― simple ingredients in its Chicago- and New York-styles of “back east” pizza. The menu will also consist of Italian beef and sausage, grinder sandwiches, hot dogs and antipasto salads.

“We are extremely excited about K.I.S.S. and the opportunity it brings to not only The Venue Scottsdale, but also to the Old Town area,” says David Twigger, director of sales and marketing for The Venue Scottsdale and K.I.S.S. “The eatery will serve the local community, offering simple food with a flare to dine-in or to-go.”

K.I.S.S. Chef Anthony Crocenzi, who was born and raised in Chicago and immersed in the downtown culinary scene for more than 10 years, will replicate the unique flavors of the area by incorporating and utilizing a process to create the same composition of water used in Chicago pizzerias. With this unique flavor of water, it will play a role in how the hot dogs and sausages taste.

With granite countertops and a modern interior, K.I.S.S.’s environment will provide an upscale, unique setting for guests.
