The Park is a street food bar and craft beer garden that is set to debut summer 2016 in Downtown Phoenix’s Collier Center. The Park is a hub to a rotating food truck and chef line-up, indoor brew garden with a well-curated list of hyperlocal hops, and live music venue.
Covering 11,000 square feet of brick-and-mortar space is an outdoor-turned-indoor community concept with elements of a park such as a backyard picnic-inspired dining space with communal tables and high-end lounge seating, green foliage, tree-canopied garden and a nightlife playground.
On a daily basis, food trucks, minus the wheels, and guest chefs will interpret their version of “street food” in the restaurant’s community kitchen and contribute to The Park’s revolving brunch, lunch, happy hour, dinner and late-night happy hour menus.
Phoenix locals and visitors can savor a different culinary experience during each visit and have the opportunity to devour bounty bites of gourmet street food, from burgers, lobster rolls and poutine to tacos, salads, Chinese orange chicken, grilled barbecue and ice cream shakes. The coveted craft beer garden will be an urban commonplace for social gatherings with a selection of craft drafts run by Julian Wright’s Pedal Haus Brewery, and specialty cocktails.
Phil Richard and Bob Garland are part of the hospitality development team and behind The Park’s creative cultivation, business development and operations.
“Our team is excited to bring a unique indoor-outdoor establishment to Downtown Phoenix for a social dining experience with a casual, comfortable space for every occasion,” said Phil Richard, owner and founder of The Park. “The culinary scene has been a growing culture in Downtown Phoenix and we’re proud to bring a first of its kind community concept to the city.”
Open seven days a week to be a year-round affair, The Park is a restaurant and bar during the day and turns into an adult playground with a dance floor, VIP tables, stage for live bands and entertainment, DJ booth and cocktail service by night. Adjacent to the Talking Stick Resort Arena, Chase Field Park and Phoenix Convention Center, The Park will be available for a variety of public and private events including pop-up dinner gatherings, chef competitions, company parties, corporate meetings, reunions and intimate concerts for guests.
The Park’s utilization of forward-thinking technology will introduce a 24-tap self-serve craft beer wall. The Park will have other tech-savvy devices including large high-definition televisions for a complete sports viewing experience, digital menu boards and a 15-foot LED panel video wall.
The design of The Park offers stylish flair and a unique outdoor experience with retractable garage doors, yard-style games, and an indoor artificial forest consisting of LED-lit 35-foot-wide trees.
