UFC 246: McGregor vs. Cowboy is here and Ultimate Fighting Championship fans are in for a treat as fan-favorite Conor McGregor makes his return to the octagon and squares off against and Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone in the main event to headline UFC 246’s big PPV event.

Main event: Conor McGregor (21-4-0) vs. Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone (36-13-0, 1 NC)

Co-main event: Holly Holm (12-5-0) vs. Raquel Pennington (10-8-0)

Heavyweight: Aleksei Oleinik (57-13-1) vs. Maurice Greene (8-4-0)

Lightweight: Anthony Pettis (22-9-0) vs. Diego Ferreira (16-2-0)

The main event of UFC 246: McGregor vs. Cowboy is as close to guaranteed fireworks as one can expect. McGregor (21-4) hasn’t fought since his October 2018 loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov, but he’ll look to prove that he’s still one of the best strikers in mixed martial arts against “Cowboy.” Considering the fight is at welterweight, McGregor looked great on the scales and easily weighed in exactly at 170 pounds.

Unlike “Notorious,” Cerrone (36-13, 1 NC) never takes much time away from fighting. The Colorado native has had five fights during McGregor’s absence from the Octagon. He won the first three of these, including impressive finishes over Mike Perry and Alexander Hernandez, but is currently on a two-fight losing streak after being bested by Tony Ferguson and Justin Gaethje. “Cowboy” had little trouble making weight and came in at 170 pounds.
