The Living Room wine cafe and lounge has been drawing crowds since their openings in Chandler’s Downtown Ocotillo, and in Scottsdale at DC Ranch. The locally owned group is expanding into Tucson and set to open their innovative wine concept in beautiful La Encantada shopping center, mid-October. The Living Room’s success in Chandler and Scottsdale is without question due to their hospitality and staying true to their mantra of love, laugh, lounge. Tom Kaufman says, “The Living Room is truly the modern day neighborhood hangout; Its a chill lounge with great food.”
The Living Room footprint at La Encantada has 3000 SF inside and additional 800 SF patio, seating capacity of 120 guests. The space has an open-air welcoming feel. Both the interior and exterior will have comfortable soft seating areas to stretch out or get cozy.
Chefs Paul Steele and Dominic Jones are designing a menu packed with delicious, sharable, salads, seafood starters, bruschetta, flatbreads, burgers, desserts and more. Saturday and Sunday brunch will be stocked with both healthy and hardy options. The bar will offer 25 wines and sangrias by the glass, Tom’s handpicked list of wines by the bottle and a full-line of spirits. Live entertainment on Sunday and a DJ will be featured on Friday and Saturday nights.
The Living Room partners searched for several months to find a neighborhood to call home in Tucson and they are looking forward to being a part of this vibrant community. The Living Room at La Encantada is at 2905 E Skyline Drive (previously Armitage Wine lounge & café). For more information visit Livingroomwinebar.com.
