Pita Jungle announced it will open its newest location in Mesa on Tuesday, December 10, 2019. This is the third Pita Jungle location in Mesa and third new location opening in the Valley since last year.

“The East Valley, and Mesa in particular, has proved to be a fertile and vibrant ground for the spread of our healthful eaters. We are extremely grateful for the loyalty we have engendered from our Mesa patrons and are very enthusiastic about the beautiful future Pita Jungle site in the backdrop of the Red Mountains,” says Bassel Osmani, co-founder of Pita Jungle.

The new Mesa location took over the former Osteria space on the southeast corner of Alta Mesa and McKellips in northeast Mesa. It features a large main dining area and outdoor patio that flows into the interior through wide openings and an inviting full bar. The restaurant will be open for lunch, happy hour and dinner seven days a week, serving the same delicious and healthy Mediterranean dishes that Pita Jungle has been known for 25 years.

Each Pita Jungle restaurant has a unique mood and personality; it is designed to have a character that is reflective of the times and the locality. From the unique décor and original artwork by local artists, to the custom, handpicked music playlist and creative non-formulaic staff, there are no cookie-cutter locations at Pita Jungle.

According to franchisee owner Jeff Bufano, the new Mesa restaurant will be a “bright inviting space flooded by natural light. There will be nods to Palm Springs in the décor and the design will incorporate local landmarks such as the Red Mountains and Falcon Field where locals in the surrounding neighborhoods will feel comfortable and represented.”

Pita Jungle hired approximately 60 part-time and full-time employees, from servers to kitchen staff and everything in between, for the new restaurant located at 5609 East McKellips Road in Mesa.

Pita Jungle opened another new location at Park West in Peoria on December 2, 2019. By the end of this year, there will be 20 Pita Jungle’s in the Phoenix Metro area, two in Tucson, and one in Flagstaff.
