Summer will be the season to wine, dine and shine at Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain Resort & Spa. The luxury Scottsdale resort has announced two distinct series of hosted dinner events: Master of Taste, which will bring guests together with leading Napa Valley winemakers, and Late Lunch and Learn, an evening edition of Sanctuary’s popular Lunch and Learn program. Both series will showcase the talents of Executive Chef Beau MacMillan’s dream team: Chef de Cuisine Samantha Sanz and Bar Chef Christiaan Röllich. The dinners will be held in The Views ballroom, with its spacious terrace and floor-to-ceiling windows affording spectacular views of Paradise Valley and the surrounding mountains.

Master of Taste, June 9 and 24

Starting the summer off will be two iconic wine dinners, each hosted by the president or partner of an award-winning Napa vineyard. The June 9 event will feature wines from Far Niente and Nickel & Nickel wineries and will be hosted by President, Director of Sales Bruce Mooers. On June 24, Plumpjack Winery’s John Conover will present wines from Plumpjack and its sister estates CADE and Odette. At each dinner, guests will experience seven expressions of wine paired with a four-course dinner, including a reception with passed hors d’oeuvres. The June 9 event is priced at $225 and the June 24 event $250 per person, exclusive of tax and gratuity.

Late Lunch & Learn, July 10 and July 31; August 14 and 28

Sanctuary’s popular Lunch & Learn series returns in a Saturday evening format this summer. Featuring the collaborative talents of Sanz and Röllich, each event will include live music, a reception, three-course dinner, a chef demo and plenty of surprises along the way. Each dinner is priced at $165 per person, exclusive of tax and gratuity.

July 10: Meet Me in Mexico—an evening of Mexican cuisine paired with tequila cocktails

July 31: Fire in the French Quarter—celebrating New Orleans’ rich culinary traditions through innovative food and craft cocktails

August 14: Whiskey Made Me Do It—a whiskey dinner with paired cocktails and tastings of rare and exclusive whiskeys

August 28: Fiesta de Sangria—traditional Spanish cuisine served with Spanish wines and Röllich’s signature sangria
