Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain is taking holiday festivities to new heights with a food and entertainment lineup that is far from ordinary. The award-winning Scottsdale resort will toast Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve with celebrations trimmed with inspired cuisine, the hottest entertainment (dancing shoes required), and ample holiday spirit.

Christmas Day at the acclaimed elements restaurant will feature a four-course dinner by executive chef and Food Network star Beau MacMillan. Served Dec. 25 from 12-9 p.m. ($90 per person, $29 for children ages 6-12, free for children ages five and under, excluding tax, gratuity and beverages), menu highlights include Fragrant Lobster Miso Soup with cognac, Shanghai dumplings and shaved scallions; Escargot Pot Pie with Bloomsdale spinach, wild mushrooms, leeks and soy caramel; Caramelized Fig and Watercresswith stilton bleu cheese, red endive, pancetta and red wine vinaigrette; Moroccan Spice Lamb Shank with chickpea and eggplant ragout, green harissa, blood orange and mint chimichurri; and Butternut Squash Ravioli with braised Swiss chard, shiitake mushrooms, pearl onions, parmesan cream and smoked tomato jam. Dessert selections will includeSpiced Egg Nog Cheesecake with gingerbread crust and brandied cherries, and Poached Pears in Mulled Wine with pink pepper Pavlova, tangerines and Grand Marnier sabayon.

Kicking off 2016 in Sonoran style, Sanctuary has designed two unique ways to ring in the New Year on Dec. 31, featuring an inspired four-course feast by Chef MacMillan:

  • Dinner in elements: Served during two seatings from 5:30-7 p.m. ($150 per person) and from 8-10:30 p.m. ($185 per person). The second seating includes a complimentary Champagne toast, party favors and admission to the jade bar celebration. Tax, gratuity and beverages are additional.
  • Dinner, DJ and Dancing at jade bar: Dancing shoes are recommended for Sanctuary’s jade bar party. Featuring beats from Neil Concepcion, (“DJ Hybrid”) Sanctuary guests and locals alike can join Scottsdale’s biggest New Year’s Eve bash from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. For those who’d like to dine and dance, party groups of four people ($1,000) to six people ($1,500) can book the Dinner & Entertainment package which includes dinner, party favors and a bottle of Dom Perignon. Tax and gratuity are additional.
