The month of August represents the beginning of college and professional football in America, and the return of football also marks the return of the Big Arse Burger Bowl Challenge at the Tilted Kilt.
The famous pub and eatery, known as the “Best Looking Sports Pub You’ve Ever Seen,” will hold the 13-week promotion from Aug. 3-Nov. 1, 2015.
Kevin Farley, brother of late comedian Chris Farley, will headline this year’s Challenge and will star in the pub’s social videos and posts. Guests and fans are encouraged to join the conversation with Farley by using the hashtag #TKBABC and vote for their favorite burger online.
The available Big Arse Burger Bowl dishes are also created to be paired with a specific beer or cocktail from the Tilted Kilt to create an overall great dining experience for the guest. The winning burger and paired beer or cocktail will be featured on the Tilted Kilt menu for the next year. The menu for the 2015 Big Arse Burger Bowl Challenge includes the following burgers:
Fried Pickle Ranch Burger – Topped with hand-breaded dill pickle chips golden fried, cheddar cheese and cayenne ranch dressing, leaf lettuce & tomatoes. Paired with Stella Artois.
Fish N’ Chips Burger – Blackened cod with Sriracha mayo, crispy potato chips, American cheese & shredded lettuce. Paired with Dewar’s & Ginger – Dewar’s White Label Scotch Whisky & Gosling’s Ginger Beer garnished with an orange wedge.
Holy Guacamole Burger – Topped with habanero salsa guacamole, applewood smoked bacon, pepper jack cheese, leaf lettuce, tomato & red onions. Paired with Habanero Margarita – Smooth & Spicy! 1800 Silver Tequila, Cointreau, Monin Habanero Lime & freshly squeezed lime juice served in a half-salted rim glass.
Inside Out Melt – Cheddar cheese-toasted sourdough bread topped with TK Burner mayo, applewood smoked bacon & Southern Comfort pickled red onions. Paired with Car Jacked – Jack up your tastebuds! Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey, Cointreau, Monin Sugar Cane & freshly squeezed lemon juice.
Jalapeño Coleslaw Burger – Topped with fresh-made jalapeño coleslaw, melted pepper jack cheese, leaf lettuce & red onions. Paired with Canadian Tuxedo – The true Royal Mountie Mule! Crown Royal Whisky, Gosling’s Ginger Beer, maple syrup & freshly squeezed lime juice.
Tilted Munster Burger – Topped with munster cheese, shoestring onions, applewood smoked bacon, Sriracha mayo, leaf lettuce, tomato & red onions. Paired with Heineken.

In addition to voting for their favorite burgers, guests will get the chance to participate in a variety of online activities, including the “Burger Personality Quiz,” which allows consumers to find out which type of burger they are, and on social media outlets using the hashtag #TKBABC. Photos and posts with the challenge hashtag could be shared online via the TKBurgerBowl.com feed.
