Culinary Dropout at The Yard on 7th Street is gearing up for a rocking good time. On Saturday, November 14 from 3:30 p.m. to 11 p.m., the neighborhood hot-spot will host the 3rd Annual Yardstock, the official kick-off event for the 2016 McDowell Mountain Music Festival (MMMF). Organizers of Arizona’s 100 percent non-profit music festival will announce the official lineup for the music festival taking place March 11-13, 2016 at Margaret T. Hance Park.

Music lovers will get a preview of what’s to come at the free festival with one and a half-hour sets from some of the Valley’s best local musicians.

Concert line-up includes:

  • 3:30 – 5:00 Fairy Bones
  • 5:30 – 7:00 Huckleberry
  • 7:30 – 9:00 CooBee Coo
  • 9:30 – 11:00 Harper & The Moths

This year, Culinary Dropout and MMMF has partnered with Oskar Blues Brewery to donate 100 percent of the proceeds from each Oskar Blues beer sold during the event to McDowell Mountain Music Festival– Arizona’s 100 percent non-profit music festival–and ultimately its chosen charities, Phoenix Children’s Hospital and UMOM New Day Center. MMMF will also have a welcome table with ticket giveaways, merchandise, raffles, and opportunities to donate to the cause.

Guests will be able to enjoy the live music while dining at Culinary Dropout and participate in backyard-style games like corn hole, ping-pong, and shuffleboard.
