But, which cities are the most affordable wedding destination in the U.S. and least expensive for weddings in the U.S.?

To identify the best U.S. cities for weddings, Shane Co, researched the percentage of wedding venues, photographers, florists, caterers, and beauty salons with an “award-winning” status. This helped us find the cities with the top wedding suppliers offering customized experiences. We also considered the average cost of a wedding, annual sunshine levels, and the number of Instagram posts related to weddings in each location.
Sedona crowned second most affordable wedding destination in the US this year
The key findings:
- Sedona ranks as the second least expensive city for weddings in the US, with an average cost of $24,043. With its red rocks and natural wonders, it boasts hundreds of stunning venues, making it an ideal choice for budget-conscious couples.
- Oahu is the most expensive city for weddings in the US, with an average cost of $54,123. Its combination of sun, sea, and tropical landscapes makes Hawaii a popular but pricey wedding destination.
Other key findings include:
- The best place to get married in the US is Philadelphia, with the highest percentage of award-winning vendors. The city achieves second place for the most award-winning wedding venues (39.4%). Philadelphia also has the highest percentage of top-quality photographers (97.6%) and award-winning florists (38.8%).
- Searches for “personalized bridal jewelry” have surged by 25%. Similarly, interest in “men’s custom wedding rings” has experienced a 23% rise. And “#customweddingring” has eight million views on TikTok.
